Our expertise

The Institute provides expert legal advice and training to individuals, legal representatives, and public authorities on European Human Rights Law and relevant matters. The Institute also undertakes research and drafts reports on the implementation of European Human Rights Law for public authorities, regional and international organisations. The Institute is registered as a non-governmental organisation in Cyprus.

Leto Cariolou

Leto was called to the bar in England & Wales (2007) and Cyprus (2003). She specialises in human rights and criminal law.

Simona Florescu

Simona is a qualified attorney and member of the Bucharest Bar Association. She is currently a PhD researcher at Leiden University in international family law and children’s rights

Öncel Polili

Öncel has an LL.B from Eastern Mediterranean University and an LL.M on Human Rights Law from City University London.
